To people who do not know any better she seems toned down, quiet, and perhaps even timid or shy. To people that do she's simply emotional and frightened, which means she has a definite need to connect, but finds herself unable to because of the line of work that she's in and the work she has to do. Life on her own has left her distrustful, and according to some her distanced behavior has stepped up a notch recently, after the unrest surrounding late-President Dunkelzahn's death.
