| Description |
Sabbacatus is a man in his early twenties with a slender but muscular build, perfectly groomed and tailored...or at least he was until his accident. You see, when Sabbacatus was 19 years old, he got into a car accident and his injuries were so bad that he had to have extensive cybernetic implants and surgery just to keep him alive. We don't have any pictures of him after his carcrash, it was even difficult to get pictures of him before the carcrash. We found one that was taken by a UCAS Celebrities Magazine photographer who had sneaked into the Hellfire Club wearing a pin-sized camera.
What we know of him after the carcrash is that he has several obvious cybernetic implants that keep his framework in tact. Things like a partial cybernetic skull, cybernetic limbs, partial cybernetic torso. You would think that, with all the wealth he is used to, that they would buy him something a little better, but read his personality and find out why he doesn't. |
| Personality |
This is a third generation rich kid. He was born with a silver soy-spoon in his mouth. He has never had to worry about anything in his entire life until the day his car crashed and left his meat-body in pieces. The cybernetic implants and surgery [a big shock to your system and psyche as it is] have left this poor drekhead in a complete mess. You see, he loathes cyberware...he thinks it's not natural to implant your body with wires, hydraulics and titanium. He is so adamant about this that he, at the age of 16, joined the Genetic Purity Council. The GPC is a sort of policlub against cyberware. They advocate that you shouldn't mix flesh with steel.
Now as it so happens, Romulus St. Aubens - big daddy warbucks - bought his son a brand spanking new, souped up, tuned out, Honda 3220 Twin Turbo for his 18th birthday. His son went out joyriding, got drunk and wrapped himself around a plasteel streetlight. Romulus, reported not to be the sanest of people and notorious for his fragged up relationship with the rest of his family, let DocWagon decide that they should do whatever was neccessary in order to save his son [completely ignoring the fact that his son would rather be dead than have any ware implanted inside him]...and so the doctors did. They laced him up with so much ware that poor little Sabbacatus' sanity made a free fall drop...and don't forget that he wasn't the most stable individual in the world before his modifications.
He got tossed out of the GPC as soon as they heard what happened to him. He lost his friends, family, physical integrity, sanity and let's not forget the Honda 3220 Twin Turbo in one fell swoop. |
| History |
Sabbacatus St. Aubens was born into wealth. His father, Romulus St. Aubens, a second generation rich kid, heads the St. Aubens Prosperity Group and has money to burn. For some strange reason Sabbacatus, surrounded by all this money, started to develop some deviating behavior as well as ideas. At the age of 14 he had already been arrested by LoneStar twice, once for arson, the other for aggravated assault of a girl in a shopping mall.
By the time this kid was 16, he joined the Genetic Purity Council, a group of wealthy anti-cyberware nuts that go around sabotaging cyberware clinics [of course, we cannot prove this...yet]. You could compare it to the late 20th century anti-abortion protestors...but this time with a whole lot more money.
At the age of 17 his mother was murdered by her secret lover while on holiday in europe. She was a member of the Inner Sanctum of the Hellfire Club, a high society social club out of Seattle that have a facination for vampires and such, and naturally her membership was inherited by her eldest.
By this time Sabbacatus, the spoiled bonehead, had been arrested a total of 23 times...all for various misdemeanors. He never did any time, of course, because his father contributes copious wads of cred to LoneStar's campaign funds.
At the age of 18 Sabbacatus has a horrible car accident and, in order to save his life, DocWagon doctors are forced to implant Sabbacatus with life-saving cybernetic and bio-engineered implants. The psychological impact that is customary with extensive, invasive cybersurgery is doubled, if not tripled due to the hatred Sabbacatus had towards cyberware.
The first conversation Sabbacatus had with his father face to face was a very...uhm...emotional one. Basically Sabbacatus asked his father why he allowed the doctors to "mutilate" him. His father dismissed things as nonesense straight away and told Sabbacatus he was busy. Thirty minutes, a LoneStar and DocWagon visit later, his father was in a private clinic getting a broken collarbone and fractured skull patched up, and Sabbacatus was in jail.
Romulus St. Aubens did not press charges and Sabbacatus moved out of the house. Ever since things have been a little hazy. He has been sighted around the Plaza Hotel, the home of the Hellfire Club, a lot and he has also been spotted at various underground pitfighting clubs. Information is welcome. |
