| Description |
Abel is an athletically built man in his early twenties. He has long, slender but muscular limbs and a prefectly honed athletic body. He has short, blond hair, often styled fashionably nonchalant. He has a slender, almost feminine face, with a pale and smooth skin. He has bright blue eyes, thin blond eyebrows and a slightly aquiline nose. He has somewhat thick lips and a pearly white set of perfectly even teeth. His appearance is only marred by his designation code, which is tattooed quite small on the inside of his left thigh and reads "GEN-ALPHA-02".
Abel usually dresses in smart street clothing normal to his age; synthetic fabrics and leather. Denim trousers and buckled kevlar jackets and the usual heavy boots. He has been spotted in very slick looking, expensive clothing, but not very often.
Abel moves with an inborn grace, deliberately. Almost as if guided by some of the latest cybernetical or bionetical implants. His facial expressions are open and friendly. He smiles a lot, which gives him a mischievous look that people respond well to. |
| Personality |
Though Abel resembles someone of twenty-three years of age, the truth is, he has only been around for about six years. This can make him on occassion somewhat naive to the ways of the streets, even though he has matured much since he first set foot out of the research compound where he was created.
Abel is a very outgoing, outspoken, social individual who likes to play. He likes going out, doing new things, seeing new people, talking, drinking, eating. He's just touched upon this whole new life that was once denied to him, and he's determined to drink from the cup of life.
Because of the callous treatment he received at the Aztech R&D centre, Abel's sense of morality can be perceived as somewhat warped in comparison with the rest of humanity. He can be overly emotional and almost childish in his sadness and fear. He would like to do good, but knows that "the end justifies the means." |
| History |
Abel is the result of the Genesis-project, a top-secret bio-engineering program conducted by Aztechnology. It's goal was to use their considerable knowledge of bioware and genetics to create the ultimate human being; a humanlike lifeform superior, both mentally and physically, to most humans, without the addition of cumbersome and detectable cyberware.
Abel was both grown and constructed in a a high security R&D-station in less than a year. He became conscious and self-aware seemingly as a young adult of about sixteen. The project's controllers immediately started him on a rigorous training program. After teaching him basic motorskills, reading, writing andarithmetics, he was tutored, on a daily basis, in a plethora of subjects, ranging from economics to literature, allowing him to meld into society with ease.
The young man was also subjected to an intentsive physical trainging in which he mastered both armed and unarmed combat and the art of moving unheard and unseen. In addition to this, he was taught how to maximize his potential by using the gifts which science had bestowed upon him.
Abel spent these years in an enclosed compound, separated from humanity. Although he didn't want for anything, the broadcasts he watched every evening on the trid-screens, created a longing for the experience of true life. His controllers and teachers saw him just as a test subject and named him Abel, because they consdered his designation number too cumbersome.
After about five years, when moved from one facility to the next, Abel managed to escape. He suddenly found himself in the unique surroundings of Denver. There he fled the Aztlan territories and into the CAS sector where he stayed with some rebels for a while. Together with these rebels they began to unearth more and more information about the Genesis project, and he got into contact with Caine, another Genesis project, who had been sent out to find Adam. Not giving it a second thought he left for Seattle, to find Adam. |
