Your parents hand you a cup of milk, mother smiles at you. You are confused, this must be a dream. You look at your arms and see the milky white skin of a young boy. Something is definitively off. Your father sits at the table eating some bread and meanwhile watching a newssheet. Your mother is preparing your breakfast.
You relax and take a deep breath...upon opening your eyes everything still seems as they were before closing them. You check yourself, making sure everything is as it should be. You feel slow as you stand up and put your plate on the kitchen sink. You feel uncomfortable in this fragile form. You stand there, looking at your parents...hearing to what they say, but not really listening.
You see a male elf stepping into the kitchen. Dressed normally, and looking like a typical urban elf. He has a long coat on, which he open. From underneath the coat he reveals a Japanese sword, you think you've seen this in one of those old flatvid movies. Your parents don't seem to notice the elf with the sword, and they are busy discussing something more important.
The elf pulls the sword from its sheath and holds it threateningly your way. You see now that there's an inscription on the blade, it says "DREAMKILLER". The elf slowly walks your way, and you involuntarily back away. You call out to your parents, and they look up. As they see you their faces pale with shock. Again you look at yourself, and you see the tough hide of an ork covering your fragile meat and bone. You feel somewhat stronger but that feeling fades as you see your parents notice the elf with the sword.
Your father looks to the elf and pats him on the shoulder, and gives a short appreciative nod. Your father and mother walk out of the kitchen into the living room, there they watch the elf advance on you with anticipation.
You try to scramble away, but the elf is a lot faster than you are. He slices down on your leg as you try to dodge away. Your heel explodes in a burst of pain as the blade sinks in. You stumble down and you feel the second attack burying the blade deep in your back.
With your dying breath you look up and see your parents gazing down at you with a look of approval and of relief in their eyes. Everything turns black, and you feel warmth spreading through your body. Then you wake up...
