About Shadowrun: Corrosion

Shadowrun: Corrosion is a free to play, role playing game in which you play a starting shadowrunner, a soldier-for-hire in the shadow war between the various mega-corporations. Expand your network of contacts, perform missions, improve your gear and band together in crews to expand your reputation and influence.

Play a street samurai, the ultimate urban predator, decked out with the newest cybernetic enhancements and weaponry. The mage and shaman are the masters of the arcane arts, casting spells and summoning elementals and spirits. Or choose a physical adept, the ultimate martial artist that focusses their magic inward for blinding reflexes, superhuman strength and cat-like equilibrium.

In your safe house, with an overview of your character's stats, gear and assets.

On the information bar you can find your equiped weapon, complete with specifications and ammo count.

Upgrading your attributes costs karma, action points and nuyen. Your race determines cost and maximums.

The sprawl is your playground, with locations throughout all of its districts.

Each district is different. Tacoma has the harbour and the industrial zones.

In Redmond, you quickly meet Neon Blight, a contact that has a ghoul infestation in one of his properties.

Inside the ghoul den, you find yourself quickly swarmed by ghouls pouring from every corner.

Raising the player action sheet, you can choose from different non-combat actions.

The ghouls that rush you all have their own physical and stun monitors that track their health.

Raising the attack sheet for each enemy allows you to choose from several options to attack or otherwise incapacitate them.

Each mission has several items and objects laying around. Some of which you can interact with.

The attack sheet of the enemy will show which options are available to you, depending on whether you're in melee, and which weapon you have equiped.

Ah Mae Sing is your first contact in the sprawl. She will help you get acquainted with other contacts and give you more information on people.

Phoame is an industrial club in Tacoma filled with anarchists and counter-culture enthusiast. Dust also hangs out here and he can help you get some chemical refreshments.

You can stalk and place surveillance on other place, decrypting their stats and gear, message them or attack them.

Sending messages to other players can be done from your safe house.

Among your messages you will also find the results of your attacks on other players. The combat log will quickly show your strengths and weaknesses.

A hard fought battle between DV8 and Jim.

The Avondale Rippers are a small but hardcore gang in Redmond that need to be taught a lesson.

Gang members love their dogs. They're vicious and dangerous.

Rippers are as vicious as the dogs they keep. You better be packing heat!

The Ripper Lieutenant is tougher than his fellow Rippers and makes his last stand.

Tempered Steele will allow you to put your skill to good use and make a little nuyen.

And then there is, of course, Shadowrun Online, run by Cliffhanger Studios, which have just found enough funding through Kickstarter, too.
